A smooth and refined matcha made from the Kirari tea cultivar in Japan. Finely milled for a silky texture, it offers a soft, clean aroma, vivid green color, and a remarkably fresh, refreshing finish. With virtually no noticeable bitterness, it is gentle and easy to drink while still retaining a clear matcha character.
Taste & Aroma
Expect a smooth umami with a mild natural sweetness and almost no bitterness. The flavor is clean and delicate rather than heavy, followed by a fresh, crisp aftertaste that leaves the palate feeling light and refreshed.
Color & Texture
Bright, vivid green in the cup, with a smooth and silky mouthfeel. It whisks easily into a fine, creamy foam and maintains a clean texture whether prepared hot or cold.
Best For
Ideal for daily matcha ("Koicha", "Usucha"), as well as premium lattes and other drinks where a smooth, low-bitterness matcha profile is preferred. Its gentle character also makes it particularly suitable for drinking straight with water.
Quick Note
Whisk with warm water to experience its smooth umami and refreshing finish, or pair with milk for a mellow, clean-tasting latte.

Farmed & Made by Us Since 1888
We are not tea merchants. We are tea farmers.
Since 1888, we have grown tea in Shizuoka, Japan, and managed the entire process ourselves — from cultivating and harvesting the tea leaves to processing and milling them into matcha.
From our farm to your cup, every step stays in our hands.
